The nearest airports are Beziers
and Castres-Mazamet
via Airlinair
. Most of the other local airports are also served via Paris. Castres
also has flights from Lyon with local airline Hex'air.
If not hiring a car, you can
catch a train to Bédarieux via Beziers, and from there a taxi or
bus.
By Car

North.
• Around Paris follow
the signs for Bordeaux (A10)
• The road splits by Orléans – follow the A71 dir Clermont-Ferrand.
• At Clermont-Ferrand follow the signs to Montpellier (E11/A75).
• At Lodéve take the D35 west (twisty at first) to Bédarieux
(note this is not the first signpost to Bédarieux)
• At Bédarieux continue straight through on the D908 dir
Hérépian/Olargues
• About 20km along this road, just after St Martin, you will see
the turning for Tarassac (D14) on the left.
From the North West
via Toulouse.
• At Toulouse
follow the Périphérique Intérieur to Albi
(between Junction 14 and 15)
• Once on the Albi autoroute (A68) exit at Junct 2 dir Castres
• Follow the signs
to Mazamet.
• At Mazamet take the N112 to Béziers/St Pons, then the D908
to Bédarieux
• Just after Mons La Trivalle, turn right onto the Tarassac bridge
(D 14)
From the South East
follow directions from Montpellier
airport.
From the South West
follow the directions from Carcassonne
or Perpignian.

By Train
With High speed TGV trains from Paris to Montpellier (3hrs 15)
and Beziers (4 hrs) you can get a train from Waterloo at 6.30 in the morning
and arrive at Montpellier by a 14:45. Or a 10:39 taking you to Béziers
at 19:43. Reservations via RailEurope.
If travelling locally, the
nearest station is Bédarieux which is on the Paris-Béziers
line. From there you can take a taxi or bus. Reservations via SNCF
By
Bus
The 482/485 bus service from Montpellier, goes to Bédarieux, Lamalou-les-Bains,
Olargues and St.Pons 5 or 6 times a day. Tarassac is between Lamalou and
Olargues, just before Mons la Trivalle.
